A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE
LEASE OF PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, DEPARTIvLENT OF
THE NAVY, AS A SITE FOR A CALIBRATION STATION
OF PERISCOPE SYSTEMS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City of Port Orchard, Washington, is
hereby authorized to enter into a lease with the United States of
America, of a site hereinafter described, to be used by the United
States of America for a calibration station of periscope systems,
a copy of said lease being attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and
made a part hereof by reference.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Port Orchard, Mr. Nick J.
Repanich, is hereby authorized to execute said lease in behalf of
the City, and the City Clerk, Mr. R. 0. Woodward, is hereby author-
ized to witness his signature.
Section 3. The property leased herein is a parcel of land.
25 feet by-25 feet, as depicted on Exhibit B, attached hereto, and
made a part hereof by,reference.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL and approved by the Mayor this 22nd day
of March, 1971.
