HomeMy WebLinkAbout543 - Resolution - Deficiencies in Budget Appropriations for the 1943RESOLUTION A RESf:)LUTI01`,REG:y.RDING DEFICIENCIES IN VzIRIOUS BUDGETS APPROrRI-,TIOi� s FOR THE YE IR OF 1343 OF T' TO "2T OF FORT ORCHARD, WAST1LL`GT0 . iy REAS, due to conditions in Port Orchard, Ti,ashington, which did not exist and could not have been forseen when the Town of Fort Orchard adopted its budget for the year of 1943, there have ocurred deficien- cies in appoopriations provided for in said budget in various depart- ments of the Town Government, Am .?AREAS, in order to show a balanced budget at the close of the year of 1943, it is necessary to make additional appropriations for several departments of the Town Government of the Town of Port Orchard, A1D , EREA3) the additional appropriations required to be made are more than offset by increased receipts so that there will result no overdraft of any of the master funds involved as deficits can be handled by transfer and, by reason of the increased revenue, there is sufficient money in the various master funds to meet all of the expenditures required by the various Government Departments of the Town of Port Orchard, including both the expenditures provided for by the 1943 budget and also the add- itional amount in excess of the appropriations made by said budget, which are required to be expended to meet the budget deficiencies, NOW 71.7-EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Oounc it of the Town of Port Orchard that there be and is hereby appropriated froii the funds, hereinafter des- ignated, to the various departments, hereinafter specifically referred to, for the year of 1943, the following amounts, to -wit: Current Exx)ense Fund Treasurer's Salary and Expense Town hall Expense Police Salaries Police Expense Jail Expense and Meals Public Pound Public Health Street Cleaning and Garbage Withholding Tax as part of various -salaries Transfer to Street Fund Insurance Total Street Fund Labor Material Equipment Rental Repair Withholding tax on Labor Claims Industrial Insurance , Medical Aid Superintendent's Salary 1`ota 1 Water Fund Salary of Surerintendent Labor Industrial Telephones State Tax Power Total Insurance, IvIledical Aid 85.00 823.41 2742.44 567.42 100.00 115.36 100.00 40.00 600.00 2500.00 106.01 7779.64 2467.52 3557.69 1050.00 177.18 381.68 225.00 50.00 7909.07 271.33 950.00 12.00 25.00 376.00 135.00 -117-94,-33 ._.._._ Sewer Fund La boor, etc. Total Parking Meter Fund Payments to Duncan Meter Corp.
