RESOLUTION -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN
ORCHARD
COUNCIL OF THE TOW.. OF PORT
SECTION I. That it is the intention
OPt flrthe Town Council of the Town of
Orchard to improve DeKelb
Street in said Town, on the north
and south side thereof, by cutting,
filling and grading, and constructing
concrete sidewalks each four feet
,wide and three inches thick from the
Flasterly margin of Sidnev Street to i
the Westerly margin of Seattle Ave- 1
nue, all in accordance with .the. plans
there}specifications to be prepared
and filed .with the Clerk of
the Town.

SECTION 3. That it is proposed to
make the assessment for said im-
provement to be levied as aforesaid,
payable in .two annual instalments,
with interest at 7 per cent per annum,
and to issue warrants or bonds there-
for payable out of said district, the
first instalment to be payable within
30 days afteT notice of the Treasurer
he has received the assessment roil
for collection, and the second instal-
ment within one year from the date
of the said notice.
SECTION 4, That ail persons who
may desire to object to the said pro -
Posed improvement are hereby notr-
fied to appear and present such ob-
I jections at the regular meeting of the
Tcwn Council to be held on the Znd
day of June 1924, at 7:30 p.m. of said
day, which is hereby fixed for the
j time and place of hearing such ob-
: I jections.
h i SECTION 5. That an engineer be
employed for the making of said im-
e Iprovement and that he is hereby di-
rested to subm$ to the Town Coun-
al I cil at or prior to the date fixed for
di the hearing of any objections to the
said proposed improvement a state-
ment showing the cost and expense
t of such improvement, the proportion-
e ate amount to be borne by the pro-
e perty within the said proposed assess-
e ment district, the value of the real
3 estate, exclusive of improvements,
within the district according to the
valuation placed upon the same for
the purposes of general taxation, to-
gether with a diagram or print show-
ing thereon said lots, tracts or tracts
of land specially benefitted and esti-
mated cost and expense -
to be borne
! iby each of said lots, tracts or parcels
of land.
