the Town of Port Orchard.
Section 1. That it is the intention of
he Town Council of the Town of Port
)rchard to improve Mitchell road by

road to the north margin of Kendall
street, in accordance with plans and
specifications to be. prepared there-

section 2. That to pay the cost of
said improvement it is proposed tc
create an. assessment district of all
lots or parcels of land specially ben :

margin of Division street south to
Kendall street, and grubbing, clearing,
cutting, filling, grading and graveling
said roadway, all in accordance with
the plans and specifications to be pre -

Section 2. That to pay the cost of
said improvement it is proposed to
create an assessment district of all the
lots or parcels of land specially bene-
fitted thereby between the termini of
said improvement abutting upon, ad-
jacent, vicinal or proximate to the said
part of said road to be improved from
the marginal lines thereof to the cen-
ter of the blocks facing or abutting
thereon, and at least 90 feet therefrom
and to assess the cost and aspense nt

CALL FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that sealed I
bids will be received by the Town
Council of Port Orchard, Wash.• up. to
the 4th day of April, 1921 at 7:30 p.
m. for the construction of a wooden
sidewalk, six feet in width, from the
south margin of alley in Block 3, orig-
inal Town of Sidney, along the west
side of Cline _street to West Bay street,
and from.Ciine street along the south
side of West Bay Street to Pottery
Bridge, in accordance with the plans
and specifications of the city engineer
on file with the town clerk, and will
be opened by the Town Council at its
regular session on said date, com-
mencing at 7:30 p. m. Each bid must
be accompanied by a certified check
payable to the town clerk for the;
sum of not less than 5 per cent of the
bid. The town council reserves tL .
right to reject any and all bids. Th
said improvement to be completed i! i
such time as designated in the con-
tract. Bids must be endorsed "Cline
Street and West Bay Street Wooden
Sidewalk."
