HomeMy WebLinkAbout448 - Resolution - Taxation in 1919IW RESGLUTION A Resolution of the Town Council of Port -Orchard, Worashington, fixing the ,estimate of the amount to be raised by taxation to meet the public expenses of said town for the year 1919, and time for hearing on same. Be it Resolved by the Town Council of Port Washington: That the following statement of the estimates to meet the expenses of said Town for the year 1919 be adopted: Expenses (Marshall's salary ............$ 648.00 Clerk and Attorney's Salary... 480.00 Treasurer's Commissions ..... 100.00 Interest Fund 400.00 Sinking Fund ................ 900.00 Warrant Indebtedness ........ 500.00 (Street Lights ................ 465:00 Street Improvements ......... 400.00 State Industrial Insurance ... 1 20.00 State Bureau Of Inspection .... 25.00 � cidentals .n'179.52 i $4,117.52 8eceipts Pool Room Licenses' .......... $ 30.00 Theater Licenses ............. 20.00 Dog Licenses ................ 25.00' Taxation (21 Mills) ......... 4,042.52 $4.117.52 And be it further resolved that the said Council meet on the 7th day of Oc tober,' 1918, at 8:00 o'clock P. M., at the regular meeting place of said Council, for the purpose of making tax levies for the year 1919 in accordance with the foregoing estimate, at which said time and place any person having any inter- est therein may appear and be heard in preference to said proposed tax levies, and that the Clerk of said town give notice of such hearing by publishing a copy of this resolution as provided by law.
