Re: City of Port Orchard, City Hall
While on site, our technician noted the following:
Chilled Loop
The chilled loop is in poor condition. We recommend running a flush back to raw water
quality, then retreating with a different corrosion inhibition product (molybdate based
instead of nitrite based).
Cost of the above: $1,437.00 plus tax
Please Note: This quote is based upon the assumption that the chilled loop is no larger
than 1,000 gallons. If loop is larger than 1000 gallons additional chemical will need to
be purchased
Once the above work has been completed, the units will be tested for proper operation.
If further repairs are necessary, we will contact you.
Thank you for the opportunity to work with you on this project. If you have any
questions regarding this report, or if you would like to schedule the above -mentioned
work, please feel free to give us a call.

Opening Comments
Onsite chemical corrosion inhibitor product is: Sound Water Treatment Corrblox CLI-35N. Approximately 2 gallons
remain.
Chill Loop Online
Loop is in poor order and in a potentially corrosive state. Nitrite levels are low and pH is high. I recommend either
completely flushing the loop and retreating with t gallon of the corrosion inhibitor onsite or ordering colorguard to
buffer the pH into range before adding 1 gallon of corrosion inhibitor.
Note: No measureable glycol was present.
Hot Loop Online
Loop was found to be in poor condition as nitrite and conductivity levels were far above range. Loop was bled
until conductivity had dropped below 4000 uS. No further adjustments are necessary at this time.
Closing Comments
Several puddles were found on the mechanical room floor but they are believed to be due to condensation.
