RESOLUTION NO. 122-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN EXTENSION TO CONTRACT C094-20 WITH GRETTE
ASSOCIATES LLC FOR 2023 ON -CALL CRITICAL AREAS REVIEW AND CONSULTING
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, on September 18, 2020, the City of Port Orchard Department of Community
Development sent a Request for Proposals (RFP) for on -call, third -party review of critical areas reports
and development proposals to three qualified firms on the MRSC personal services roster; and
WHEREAS, the City received Statements of Qualifications from two firms, and on November 6,
2020, after review of all qualifications, the City selected Grette Associates LLC as one of the firms to
provide on -call critical areas review and consulting services from 2021-2023; and
WHEREAS, staff negotiated a contract for services including fees with Grette Associates LLC, and
finalized a professional services agreement on December 11, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the Port Orchard City Council, at the 2015 recommendation of the State Auditor's
Office, documented their consultant selection process as described above for Contract 094-20 by
Resolution 070-20; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard wishes to extend the term of Contract C094-20 for one-year
as provided in the Terms and Conditions of Contract 094-20 by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the one-year extension of the term of Contract C094-20 would be effective on
December 31, 2022; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
THAT: It is the intent of the Port Orchard City Council that the recitals set forth above are hereby
adopted and incorporated as findings in support of this Resolution.
THAT: The Port Orchard City Council approves of and authorizes the Mayor to execute a
one-year extension of Contract 094-20 with Grette Associates LLC for 2023 on -call critical areas
review and consulting services.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested by the
Clerk in authentication of such passage this 13t" day of December 2022.
