CONTRACT AMENDMENT
This CONTRACT AMENDMENT is made and entered into between KITSAP
COUNTY, a municipal corporation, with its principal offices at 614 Division Street, Port
Orchard, Washington 98366, hereinafter "COUNTY", and City of Port Orchard, hereinafter
"CONTRACTOR."
In consideration of the mutual benefits and covenants contained herein, the parties agree
that their Contract, numbered as Kitsap County Contract No. 193-01, and executed on 6/11/01,
shall be amended as follows:
Section 13. shall be amended to read as follows:
The Public Entity will pay Kitsap County, on contract signing, 100% of the `Total Cost to
Agency Payable to Kitsap County' on Schedule A.
For future additional IPS client RMS licenses, beyond the number of workstations specified in
Schedule A, thePublic Entity will also pay Kitsap County:
a. The then current vendor software client license costs; and
b. 1.75% of the base RMS costs specified in Schedule A.
The Public Entity will maintain a 2:1 ratio of the number of end -user workstations accessing the
RMS to the number of IPS client licenses for RMS.
The recouping of the initial buy -in costs will continue until the total number of licenses utilized
by Kitsap County, City of Bremerton, City of Port Orchard, and City of Poulsbo reaches the
initial purchase level of 551PS client RMS licenses.
AND,
2. Section 14. shall be amended to read as follows:
The Public Entity will pay Kitsap County the `Total Annual Cost to Agency Payable to Kitsap
County' specified in Schedule B, in quarterly payments commencing July 1, 2001. Payments, in
advance, are due on the 25`h day of each: January, April, July, and October for the life of this
contract. An additional, non -recurring, semi-annual payment covering January through June of
2001, is due on contract signing.
The charges for `Kitsap County Technical Services Staff Support' will be based on the actual
number of workstations accessing the RMS at the beginning of each quarter. The `Contribution
toward IPS maintenance of the base RMS' will be increased by 1.75% of the base RMS
maintenance cost specified in Schedule B for each additional RMS client license, beyond the
number of client licenses specified in Schedule A
The Public Entity will maintain a 2:1 ratio of the number of end -user workstations accessing the
RMS to the number of IPS client licenses for RMS.
Kitsap County reserves the right to annually review its cost to provide the goods and services to
the Public Entity, and to establish a revised Schedule B, beginning January 1, 2005. After year
2005, this rate will not i..,.,- ase more than 10% per year for Kitsal, Aunty staff support. Any
increase in costs due to network infrastructure or IPS Services will not be greater than the
percentage of increase to Kitsap County.

Schedules A and B are deleted in their entirety and replaced with the attached Schedules
A and B dated October 8, 2001.
3. Except as expressly provided in this Contract Amendment, all other terms and
conditions of the original Contract, and subsequent amendments, addenda or
modifications thereto, remain in full force and effect.
This amendment shall be effective upon execution by the parties.
