Mayor,
Please see a possible option below for your conversation with the Council. Hopefully, it's
not too late. These are the same numbers that we had originally specified but the other
hands that you liked. If we change to the numbers that have the rings similar to the existing
clock, there will be an added costs for the extra metal rings. I reached out to the rep and its
about $1,300 per face (plus the GCs markups). That might sway your decision a bit. Keep
in mind we have (4) clock faces on this project.
I do feel that the option without the rings (like below) is a cleaner look and easier to read
and still keeps the roman numerals like your current face has. But I will let you discuss that
with your council.
