HomeMy WebLinkAbout1458 - Ordinance - Property Annexation - Dick, JacobsonJ� ey,a5i 3iN � IS1 ORDINANCE NO. 1458 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO AND PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD. WHEREAS, Michael Dick and Richard Jacobsen, et al, owners of the real property hereinafter described, according to the assessed valuation per general taxation, have petitioned the Council of the City of Port Orchard that said territory be annexed to and become a part of the City of Port Orchard; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Review, as required by law, has been convened and has made the determination that it is in favor of the annexation of the area hereinafter described; and, WHEREAS, the City Council did fix Monday, April 24, 1989 at the hour of 7:45 p.m., for the Public Hearing on said petition and the Clerk of the City of Port Orchard did give notice of said hearing in the manner provided by law; and, WHEREAS, the City Council at their regularly scheduled meeting on the 24th day of April, 1989 did hold a hearing on said petition and unanimously approved the same; NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, DOES ORDAIN, as follows: SECTION 1. That the following described territory contiguous to the City of Port Orchard be, and the same hereby is, annexed to the City of Port Orchard and from and after the effective date of this Ordinance, shall be and become a part of the City of Port Orchard, subject to all the laws and ordinances thereof, the said territory being more particularly described as follows: Legal Description - Attachment "A" PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 24th day of April, 1989Mzt:'— LESLIE J. Beginning at the southwest corner of the NE 1/4, SE 1/4, SW 1/4, thence north 90 feet, thencc west 295 feet, thence North 150 feet, thence West to the east margin of Mitchell Avenue; thence southerly along said east margin to the centerline of State Road 160; thence east along said centerline to extended centerline of vacated right of way CJ 14-320; thence south to south margin of State Road 160; thence east along said south margin to the east margin of Karcher Road; thence north to the east margin of Retsil Road, thence north along east margin of Retsil Road to the north boundary of the SW 1/4, SE 1/4, thence west along the north line of the SW 1/4, SE 1/4 to the west boundary of Retsil Road; thence south along west boundary of Retsil Road to the north line of the SW 1/4, SW 1/4, SE 1/4 thence west along said north boundary to the point of beginning.
