S1CTION 1: That commencing as of February 10, 1956, the follow-
ing Town p1eyeeo shall be paid as follows: Superintendent of Public
Works, $416.67 per nenth; Chief of Police, $390.00 per month; Police
Patrolman, $335,00 per ; Forsan of Water Department, $385.00 per
nontb; Fora va of Street Depertaent, $385@0 per month; Police Judge,
10.00 per ; Attorney, $120.00 per month retainer; Librarian,
95.00 per month; Janitor at city hall, $100.00 per month.; Engineer,
i0Om00 per nontb retainer; Clerk -Treasurer, $400.00 per month; Assist -
and Clerk -Tr, carer, $275.00 per month; regular laborers $340.00 per
month; casual laborers, a naxinun of $1.92 per hour.
3 -O 2: As part of the salaries set forth above, but in addi-
tion to the special aunt thereof, in the case of all employees of
the Town covered by the Statute of tie State of Washington pertaining
to State d ical Aid, the Town of Port Orchard shall pay the full
ancunt thereof, instead of one-half the anount thereof, as specified by
statute as being ndatory, for the reason that bookkeeping expense of
deducting one if the anount thereof from the respective salaries
exceeds the amount of the contribution normally deducted from the said
wages.
SECTION 3: Ordinance No. 822 and all other ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
