OR?INA tE PARTIALLY VACATING A PORTION OF UNNAMED STREET
IN THE TOWN OF PORT ORCHARD, WHICH IS COWCNLY KNOWN AS
"HIGHWAY NO. 14" AND AS THE "BREMERTON-GIG HARBOR HIGHWAY".
WHEREAS, John E. Tegstrom and Marguerite E. Tegstroes, %?s wife,
the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abutting on a portion
of an unnamed street in the Town of Fort Orchard, but which is commonly known
as "Highway No. 14" and as the "Bremerton -Gig Harbor Highway", did file with the
Clerk of the Town of Fort Orchard their Petition for the partial vacation o€ the
said street t of way, namely, the Easterly 30 feet and the Southerly 15 feet
where the same abuts on the following described real property:
Parcel A: That portion of the NE k of the NWT of the
Y, Sec. 36, Twp. 24 N., R. 1 E., W.M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point E. 777.06 feet and
S. 3.50 feet from the NW corner of the NW's
of the NW% of said Sec. 36; thence S. 0°03'
36" E. 170 feet; thence S. 86°31' E. 200 feet;
thence N. 0°03' W. 180 feet more or less to a
point S. 89°28'44" E. from the point of
beginning; thence N. 89°28'44" W. 200 feet to
point of beginning; EXCEPT State Highway #14;
Kitsap County, Wash.
Parcel B: Beginning 977.06 feet E. and 4.40 feet S. of the
NW corner of Sec. 36, Twp. 24 N., R. 1 E., W.A.,
said point being on the North line of real property
described in that certain deed recorded in Vol. 389
of Deeds, page 109, under Auditor's File No. 409956,
records of Kitsap County; thence S. 003' E. 180
feet more or less to the SE corner of real property
described in said deed; thence S. 86°31' E. 100
feet; thence North 12°04' E. 189 feet more or less
.to a point which bears S. 89°28' 44" East of the
point of beginning; thence N. 89°28'44" W. 138.03
feet more or less to a point of beginning, EXCEPT
roas6; Kitsap County, Wash;

WHEREAS, the City Council did, by Resolution, fix Monday, December 10,
1956, at the hour of 7:30 F;, for hearing on the said Petition and the Clerk of
the Town of Port Orchard did give due notice in the manner provided by law of the
said hoarin by posting four copies of a written notice of the said hearing in the
most public places in the Tom of Port Orchard and a like copy in a conspicuous
place on a portion of the said site to be faceted; and
WHEREAS, the Council, in a regularly scheduled meeting on the 10th
day of December, 1956, did hold a hearing on the said Petition and unanimously
approved the seas;
N, THEREFORE, be it, and it hereby is, ordained by the Council
of the Town of Port Orchard that the Easterly 30 feet and the Southerly 15 feet of
the unnamed street right of way in the Town of Port Orchard which is commonly
known as the "Bremerton -Gig Harbor Highway" and "Highway No. 14" where the same
abuts on the real property hereinabove described, and is more fully shown on a
Plat attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, be and the same
hereby is vacated, •
