COQ,PATTY, its associates, successors and assigns, to erect, construct and establish works and plsrnts for the generation »d dis- tribution_ of electricity within_ the corporate limits of the City of Port Orchard, State of 7ashir_gton, and do all things necessary thereto. That there be and ?hereby is ^ranted unto PENI` S: L A LIGHT & POTtEE C01'PA?Y, its associates, successors and assigns, a franchise and right-of-way over and through, across and along all the public streets, alleys, •rounds and public daces within the corporate limits of the City of Port Orchard, State of 1'ashington_, and over and through and across and along all the public streets, alleys, grounds and public places of any and all additions to the City of Port Orchard that are now or may hereafter be made, for the purpose of erecting, maintaining, operating, holding and con- trolling within said city of Port Orchard, and the said additions thereto, a full and complete electric light and power system, con- sistin of plants, tramm�iissio_' systems, s -b-stations etc., for the purpose of supply,; ing the -City of Port Orchard and the inhabitants thereof with electricity during the period of thirty years from 'and a_`ter the passage and approval of this ordinance. SECTIO-7 2. That the said P 'I'TSULA LIGHT & POWER CO TAY -Y, its associates, successor's and assigns, shall have the right for said period of time to erect poles, or bearings and string electric wires thereon throughout the same district, and to do all things over and aoout and along and across such streets, alleys and ublic places as znay be necessary to the full and complete construction erection, repairing and operating such plant, works, t_ ansiaission systems and sub -stations in the said City of Port Orchard; and it shall with as little delay as e reasonably necessary repair all and any damage done by reason of se t tint- poles or bearings or stringing wires thereon, and shall restore the streets and alleys a and public places to as good condition as they were in prior to the setting- of poles. That no person or persons, co:spany or corpo- ration except the City of Port Orchard shall be r -ranted alyright to cross or to pass over or under the electric wires of the grantee herein, its associates, successo --s or assigns, so as to impair or endanger the operation of such wires .:without the consent of the grantee herein, its associates, successors or assigns. r = CTIO ' 4.
