Are we able to turn in the original BID BOND that says "Punlic" on it, or is there going to
be an updated bid bond we will need to turn in? Yes, please turn in the original BID BOND.
Clerical errors can be rectified during the contracting stage.
There are 30 working days stated in the contract, but we are expecting this to take longer.
Will there be an option for more days to complete the work? Yes. We are extending the
working days from 30 to 90.
Are there any weight ratings for the piles under the deck? No
Do the stringers remain as well as the pilings? Anything from the top of the piling down will
remain.
Please provide all permits approved and status of any permits applied for. The SEPA
process has been completed. The HPA process is in its finalizing stage. Please expect all
environmental permits to be in hand by the time of award, per regulatory agencies. The only
anticipated permits required by the successful bidder are the City of Port Orchard's Demolition
permit and the WA Clean Air permit.
What is the estimated construction budget? We do not have an engineer's estimate for this
project.
Will grounding the barge be allowed? No. We are extending the working days from 30 to 90 to
accommodate this.
