Point of Contact Title Signature Phone Email 2026 Lodging Tax Application Marketing Plan is The Sains Car Club of Port Orchard holds an annual "Cruz Car Show", open to the public, in order to draw tourism opportunities from the greater Kitsap, Pierce, Mason, Jefferson and King counties. The Saints Car Club sends over 700 postcards to previous car owners, vendors and business partners. Hundreds of flyers and posters are printed and distributed by hand to summer car show events and many local businesses. In addition, The Sains Car Club advertises in the following media outlets: Auto magazines NW Car Show publication Kitsap Sun, PO Independent, SK Chamber Kitsap reader boards ii By promoting this reputable event to our fellow car enthusiasts all over Washington State, many out of area travelers will need lodging after a full day of activities. Our virtual and printed materials go out months in advance in order to attract interest and draw participants as far away as Canada. Since this event is the largest in Kitsap County, car owners can find good rest within Port Orchard before the long drive home the next day. iii: 34% of our budget is for marketing. 89% of our request from the City of Port Orchard will be spent on marketing in the following areas: Flyers/Posters/Postcards$2,963 Postage $296 Newspapers/Publications $3,843 Financial Status is The Saints Car Club has only applied to the City of Port Orchard for this city event held in August. The Saints Car Club will not be seeking other direct funding at this time because our organization is not like a grantbased entity nor do we have ongoing events that would require other funding needs. The Saints Car Club is a charitable, non-profit organization registered with Washington State and the Federal Government as a 501 (c) (7) . We must report through our CPA in order to maintain this status. ii: With frequent conversations between club Presidents, the Lion's Club readily agrees to provide a pancake breakfast for the general public at The Cruz. Their organization recognizes the value of community events and joint participation, especially with a warm meal. There are no other groups or organizations that offer this type of meal. iii: The Saints Car Club does not currently partner with anyone in joint marketing efforts for the yearly Cruz Car Show, however, The Saints Club is always willing to consider future opportunities to collaborate in order to increase tourism. iv: The financial sustainability of The Sains Car Club comes from the sale of Legacy Sponsorships (larger businesses), Trophy Sponsorships (smaller businesses) and participant entry fees from The Cruz. v. If the Saints Car Club (for the purposes of The Cruz) only receives part of the requested funding, the event would still take place. HOWEVER, there would be a significant reduction in the charitable donations given to such organizations as SK Helpline, Backpacks for Kids, SK Family Kitchen, Toys for Tots and Friends of the Library.
