Request for Qualifications - Givens Park Master Plan
the City of Port Orchard (the City) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from
Architecture/Engineering firms (Consultants) with expertise in park design, landscape
architecture, civil and structural engineering, electrical, HVAC/mechanical, plumbing, ADA
compliance, planning, cost estimation, and construction administration. The selected
Consultant will provide planning, conceptual design, preliminary engineering, and
construction documents, including cost estimates, for potential building renovations,
transportation frontage improvements, utility upgrades and other amenities identified in
the Givens Park Master Plan, Facility, and Accessibility Improvements Project.
This master planning effort is intended to guide future improvements and capital
investments at Givens Park. It will also serve as a foundational document to support the
City's efforts to secure local, state, and federal funding, including grants administered by
the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO). The plan must meet
applicable RCO planning and documentation requirements to ensure eligibility for current
and future grant opportunities.
The City reserves the right to amend this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), issue addenda,
or withdraw the RFQ at anytime, regardless of the level of effort expended by respondents.
