SECOND CONTRACT AMENDMENT
This Second Amendment to the ILA executed on January 12, 2026
("Second Amendment") Is made and entered into between KITSAP COUNTY a
municipal corporation, with its principal offices at 614 Division Street, Port
Orchard, Washington 98366 and the City of Port Orchard (collectively the
"Parties"). In consideration of the mutual benefits and covenants contained herein,
the Parties agree that their CONTRACT, numbered as Kitsap County ILA
KC -160- 24 shall be amended as follows:
1 ILA Section 3 - Commencing January 1, 2024, the CITY shall pay the COUNTY four
hundred twenty- one dollars and eighty-seven cents ($421.87) per month for each
Traffic Signal requiring maintenance by the COUNTY.
If the CITY adds additional Traffic Signals requiring maintenance, the CITY shall pay the
sum of four hundred twenty-one dollars and eighty-seven cents ($421.87) per month per
Traffic Signal which shall be paid quarterly thirty (30) days after receipt of an invoice
and pro -rated to the date of activation.
2. Exhibit B - (1) Sidney Glen Elementary School Flasher added under flashers; and (2) Pottery Ave
Speed Radar Signs added under Solar Powered Speed Radar Signs. (4) Sidney Glen Elementary
added under Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons and (3) Cedar Heights JR High under
Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons. These new devices were officially added on August 12,2025.
These changes increase the total number of Traffic Control Devices from 24 to 34 in total.
Insurance, If this Second Amendment extends the expiration date of the Contract, then Contractor shall
provide an updated certificate of insurance evidencing that any required Insurance coverages are in effect
through the new contract expiration date. The Contractor shall submit the certificate of insurance to:
Kitsap County Risk Management Division, 614 Division Street, MS -7, Port Orchard, WA 98366
Terms Unchanged. Except as expressly provided in this Second Amendment, all other terms and
conditions of the original Agreement, and any subsequent amendments, addenda or modifications
thereto, remain in full force and effect.
Authorizations. The signatories to this Second Amendment represent that they have been
appropriately authorized to enter into this First Amendment on behalf of the Party for whom they sign,
and that no further action or approvals are necessary before execution of this FirstAmendment.

will be deemed an original, but all of which together will constitute one and the same agreement.
A facsimile, email, or other electronically delivered signatures of the parties shall be deemed to
constitute original signatures and deemed to constitute duplicate originals.
