Pursuant to section VIII. Option to Renew in the Commercial Lease Agreements, dated December 28, 2022, the City can exercise its right to renew the commercial lease with written notice to the Landlord no less than 60 days prior to the expiration of the lease or renewal period. Please take this written notice as the City's official notice to renew for an additional 3 years, extending the expiration date of the leases to be 12/31/2028. We understand that effective 1/1/2026, an increase by 2% annually, each year on January 1st, will be applied. Please let me know if you need anything further to extend the leases as stated above.
