RESOLUTION NO. 014-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, RATIFYING
THE MAYOR'S EXECUTION OF A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT FOR
THE 5R166/BAY STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard is undertaking the SR166/Bay Street Improvements
Project (the "Project") to improve public infrastructure and utilities serving downtown Port
Orchard; and
WHEREAS, the Project requires temporary construction easements from abutting
property owners to facilitate construction activities; and
WHEREAS, the City secured a Temporary Construction Easement from the property
owner of Parcel No. 4650-012-001-0009, covering approximately 1,904 square feet, to allow
the City and its contractors to perform necessary work, including excavation, utility installation,
sidewalk and driveway reconstruction, and restoration activities; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor executed the easement agreement to maintain project schedule
and coordination; and
WHEREAS, compensation for this easement was included in a prior Council -approved
item for the SR166/Bay Street Improvements Project, and therefore there is no additional cost
to the City; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council hereby ratifies the Mayor's execution of the Temporary
Construction Easement for Parcel No. 4650-012-001-0009, covering approximately
1,904 square feet, for the SR166/Bay Street Improvements Project at no additional cost.
THAT: The Resolution shall take full force and effect upon passage and signatures
hereon.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage on this 10th day of February 2026.
