Special Meeting of January 7, 2016
1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m.
Roll call was taken by the City Clerk as follows:

The Council discussed and decided on which set of interview questions would be used.
B. Interview of Council Candidates
Marcus Lane-The Council took turns asking Mr. Lane questions via teleconference.
At 9:53 a.m., the Council recessed into a 10-minute executive session to discuss the qualification of
a candidate in accordance with RCW 42.30.llO(l)(h). At 10:03 a.m., the Council reconvened back
into regular session. No action was taken.
Amy Miller -The Council took turns asking Ms. Miller questions.
At 10:42 a.m., the Council recessed into a 10-minute executive session to discuss the qualification
of a candidate in accordance with RCW 42.30.llO(l)(h). At 10:52 a.m., the Council reconvened
back into regular session. No action was taken.
Nick Whittleton -The Council took turns asking Mr. Whittleton questions.

At 11:12 a.m., the Council recessed into a 10-minute executive session to discuss the qualification
of a candidate in accordance with RCW 42.30.llO(l)(h). At 11:22 a.m., the Council continued the
executive session for an additional five minutes. At 11:27 a.m., the Council reconvened back into
regular session. No action was taken.
At 11:30 a.m., the Council recessed for lunch.
At 1:00 p.m., the Council reconvened back into regular session.
Jay Rosapepe -The Council took turns asking Mr. Rosapepe questions.
At 1:22 p.m., the Council recessed into a 10-minute executive session to discuss the qualification of
a candidate in accordance with RCW 42.30.llO(l)(h). At 1:32 p.m., the Council reconvened back
into regular session. No action was taken.
Chris Tibbs -The Council took turns asking Mr. Tibbs questions.
At 1:50 p.m., the Council recessed into a 10-minute executive session to discuss the qualification of
a candidate in accordance with RCW 42.30.llO(l)(h). At 2:00 p.m., the Council continued executive
session for an additional five minutes. At 2:05 p.m., the Council reconvened back into regular
session. No action was taken.
Scott Diener -The Council took turns asking Mr. Diener questions.
At 2:58 p.m., the Council recessed into a 10-minute executive session to discuss the qualification of
a candidate in accordance with RCW 42.30.llO(l)(h). At 3:08 p.m., the Council reconvened back
into regular session. No action was taken.
At 3:08 p.m., the Council recessed for a break.
At 3:21 p.m., the Council recessed into a 30-minute executive session to discuss the qualification of
candidates in accordance with RCW 42.30.llO(l)(h). At 3:51 p.m., the Council continued executive
session for an additional 40 minutes. At 4:31 p.m., the Council reconvened back into regular
session. No action was taken.
The Council announced they would continue discussion of the qualifications of candidates on
Monday, January 11, 2016, at 8:00 a.m.

The meeting ad'ourned at 4:31 p.m. No other action was taken.
