Planning Commissioners would likely attend. Completed • Increase the number of summer hire staff from 4 to 6 and explore increasing the salary for competitiveness. Mayor's Budget o Human Resource Director: Currently recruiting. • Hire an Asset Management Specialist. o Human Resource Director: Recruiting will start upon Council approval at the May 28th Council meeting. Completed • Promote Office Assistant II to an Office Assistant III to perform the administrative side of stormwater, sewer & water permits. Completed o Human Resource Director: Will take effect after the Council approval at the May 28th Council meeting. • Change stormwater FTE into an entry level engineer. o Human Resource Director: TBD. Completed • Update the City's Traffic Impact Study. o Community Development Director: Will be on the May 14th City council meeting for Council approval. Underway — To be completed in Q1 2025 • When the City Attorney has capacity, focus on the following: Targeting June Work Study with Draft for consideration. o Update processes regarding ordinance sponsors. • City Attorney/City Clerk: Will prepare draft of an ordinance amending POMC Completed o Explore adding ground rules to City Council members. • City Attorney: Will draft an ordinance adding Council Stand I rd of Conduct to POMC Tabled by City Council o Change the public comment process to include one public comment period at the beginning of the meeting. Completed o Add ground rules for public participation during council meetings. — City Attorney: Will prepare draft of an ordinance amending POMC and repealing current resolution. Attorney presented information - No Direction from City Council • Hold a work study session on the City's Guiding Principles. o City Council: Will be held at the July Work Study Session. Completed • Have the City Attorney draft a white paper on options for the Myhre's building. o City Attorney: A draft will be prepared for the City Council Completed • Discuss 1406 funds — Non -Profit Partners needed. o Mayor: Nonprofits needed to perform services. Is further discussion needed? Mayor's Budget — ILA by Q1 2025 ■ Create a road clean-up program (see existing work with Kitsap County).
