Audio/Visual was successful. Staff present via Zoom: Councilmember Worden 1. Call to Order Mayor Pro -tern Morrissey called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. A. Pledge of Allegiance The Mayor Pro -tern led the audience and Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Executive Session Executive Session not held. 3. Action Item A. Discussion and possible action on a public statement regarding the resignation of former Councilmember Fenton, and providing direction on the process to fill the vacancy. At 5:02 p.m., due to disturbance in the Council Chambers, pursuant to RCW 42.30.050, Mayor Pro tern Morrissey adjourned the meeting to reconvene via Zoom. The Councilmembers in attendance rejoined the meeting via Zoom. Members of the public were able to hear and view the meeting via Zoom using the link on the published agenda. The Council Chambers were reopened and members of the public were able to enter. Mayor Pro -tern reconvened the meeting at 5:20 p.m. On a motion by John Morrissey, seconded by Mark Trenary, to waive confidentiality from the executive session held on Tuesday (June 16, 2026), the recorded vote occurred as follows: Voting Yes -Eric Worden, John Morrissey, Jay Rosapepe, Mark Trenary, Scott Diener, Shirah Dedman; Voting No -None. The motion Passed (6-0). On a motion by John Morrissey, seconded by Eric Worden, to adopt a public statement by Council, the recorded vote occurred as follows: Voting Yes -Eric Worden, John Morrissey, Jay Rosapepe, Mark Trenary, Scott Diener; Voting No-Shirah Dedman. The motion Passed (5-1). Councilmember Worden left the meeting at 5:35 p.m. On a motion by John Morrissey, seconded by Mark Trenary, to direct the City Clerk to make that post (in the official newspaper soliciting for resumes and supplemental questionnaires for City Council vacancy), as of this coming Monday the 22nd for applications to be received back no later than July 10th, the recorded vote occurred as follows: Voting Yes -John Morrissey, Jay Rosapepe, Mark Trenary, Scott Diener; Absent -Eric Worden; Voting No-Shirah Dedman. The motion Passed (4-1). 4. Adjournment The meeting adjourned at 5:43 p.m. No other action was taken.
