A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING THE 2007 COMPREHENSIVE WATER SYSTEM PLAN
FOR THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
WHEREAS, the Washington State Growth Management Act requires the City to
prepare an inventory of the location of all existing and proposed utility facilities and a
description of the current capacity and expected future capacity of each utility, including
domestic water; and
WHEREAS, it is the City Council's goal to ensure that the water utility services
provided by the City of Port Orchard will be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and
be available to support growth and development within the service area during the 20-year
planning period; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the preparation of the 2007
Comprehensive Water System Plan for the City of Port Orchard, which plan brings the City into
compliance with state regulations and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now,
therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The 2007 Comprehensive Water System Plan for
the City of Port Orchard as prepared by PACE Engineers is
hereby adopted by the City Council.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested
by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 13th day of November 2007.
