A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
DECLARING CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND
AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSmON THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Port Orchard City Council has determined that certain personal
property owned by the City of Port Orchard has become surplus to the needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Port Orchard City Council had determined that the property is
no longer required for providing continued public sewer service; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 35. 94.040, a public hearing was legally noticed
and held on January 8, 2007; and
WHEREAS, after full consideration of the facts and information provided by staff
and any members of the public after a public hearing, the City Council finds that sale, transfer,
or disposal of said property in the best public interest of the City; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE THE FOLLOWING:
THAT: The property described below is declared as surplus to the needs of the
City. Staff is instructed to sell all items for the best available price or properly dispose of items
that it is unable to sell.
Two Cornell-6NHT-Pumps, Fair Market Value $7,000 each
THAT: The property described above, if sold or transferred, shall be without
warranty, express or implied.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this sth day of January 2007.
