A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
CREATING A SALARY STEP SCHEDULE FOR TEMPORARY
CLERK/RECEPTIONIST POSffiON.
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to periodically review the duties and responsibilities
of all employment positions; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk's office has a need to hire a temporary clerk/receptionist to
temporarily supplement the City Clerk's office front counter;
WHEREAS, staff in this category are of a specified and limited duration, usually not to
exceed six months; and
WHEREAS, a review of the AWC Salary and Benefit Survey determined it was
appropriate to add new salary steps to the existing Temporary Clerk/Receptionist position, now,
therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE THAT:
SECTION 1. A Salary Step Schedule is established for the position of Temporary
Clerk/Receptionist and is attached as Exhibit A.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 8th day of July 008 .
