Introduced: June 28, 2011 Adopted: June 28, 2011 RESOLUTION NO. 016-11 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE YEARS 2012-2017. WHEREAS, the Council adopts the six-year transportation improvement program annually for the following six-years; now, therefore; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: THAT: The six-year construction portion of the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program for the years 2012-2017, a copy of which is · attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A" and is an integral portion of the Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program for the City of Port Orchard is hereby adopted. Lincoln Ave. 2.4 9 Bethel Avenue West Bethel Road is currently two lanes wide it needs to be widened to four lanes with Bethel Ave. street lights, sidewalks, and stormwater Bay St. system upgrades to accomodate traffic. Sedgwick Rd. 0.95 20 Bay Street and Rockwell Avenue Intersection Improvements are needed at the Bay St. intersection for driver safety and Bay St. visibility. Rockwell Ave. 0 21 Cline Avenue Rehabilitation Replace sidewalk and parking strip on the Cline Ave. west side of the road, the east side has Kitsap Dr. already been replaced. Dwight St. 0.13 22 Sidewalk Improvement Project Repair and replace concrete sidewalks as needed. 23 Emergency Relief Funding In the event an emergency happens that may be eligible for state or federal reimbursement, this item may provide the ability to quickly act upon receiving funding.
