A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
ACCEPTING THE BID FOR A TOYOTA HYBRID POLICE VEHICLE
WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard Police Department budgeted for a new hybrid
police vehicle in the 2012 budget; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard sought bids for a hybrid police vehicle on January
12, 2012, and bids were opened on January 26, 2012; and
vVHEREAS, the City received one qualified bid from Heartland Toyota of Bremerton
for a 2012 Toyota Hybrid police vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the City Police Department finds the bid amount to be '"rithin the funding
allocations of the 2012 budget; now, therefore,
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City of Port Orchard accepts the hybrid police vehicle bid as
submitted by Heartland Toyota of Bremerton in an amount not to exceed
$43,000, which includes all sales tax, licensing, and recording fees .
PASS ED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 14th day of February 2012.
