WHEREAS, the Council adopts the six-year transportation improvement program annually for the following six-years; now, therefore; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: THAT: The six-year construction portion of the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program for the years 2013-2018, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A" and is an integral portion of the Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program for the City of Port Orchard is hereby adopted . . Tremont Street Melcher Street 10 Melcher Street Widening Melcher Street West is currently a narrow two- lane road, the reconstruction would widen the road to allow two safe travel lanes. 11 Fireweed Road Widening Melcher Street West Pottery Avenue Sherman Avenue Fireweed is a two lane road currently, it needs to Fireweed Road be widened to include shoulders and a Sidney Avenue stormwater system needs to be installed. 12 Sherman Avenue Widening Sherman Avenue is currently two travel lanes wide, but needs shoulders and a stormwater system. Pottery Avenue Widening Tremont to SR16 Pottery is currently a two·lane road, it needs to be widened to a four-lane road, with sidewalks, traffic calming and upgrades to the stormwater system. 16 Sidney Avenue (South of SR 16) Widening Sidney Avenue is currently two lanes wide, it needs to be widened to four lanes including the addition of sidewalks, traffic calming, and stormwater system improvements. 17 Bay Street and Rockwell Avenue Intersection Pottery Avenue Tremont Street SR 16 Overpass Sidney Avenue SR 16 Overpass Sedgwick Road Improvements are needed at the intersection for Bay Street driver safety and visibility. Bay Street 18 Cline Avenue Rehabilitation 19 Replace sidewalk and parking strip on the west side of the road, the east side has already been replaced.
