A RESOLUfiON OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, ACKNOWLEDGING AUfHORIZTION OF
SPRINGBROOOK BID PROPOSALS AS ANTICPATED IN THE
2012BUDGET
WHEREAS, The City entered into a Software License Agreement with Springbrook
Software, Inc. on July 24, 2002 which provides financial accounting and reporting; and
WHEREAS, the 2012 Budget provided funding for the newest version of Springbrook
Software, version 7, and the Mayor executed a Version Seven Migration Agreement on
December 15, 2011 that put the City "into the cue" for pre-migration services, V7 migration, and
transition into Standard Functionality of Springbrook Accounting Features; and
WHEREAS, a year-long migration schedule was reported to the Council Finance
Committee with weekly and daily updates to the Mayor, and the move to standard functionality
required daily interaction with project team members and Springbrook Tech Services, and
during the process specific task were logged into a work order activity tracking module that kept
the migration moving forward as glitches, changes, and work arounds arose, and accomplishing
such work required timely authorization of change orders using a Springbrook bid proposal
document executed by a city official; and
WHEREAS, the City acknowledges the administrative flexibility needed during the
Software migration project and the time sensitive nature of accepting bid proposals needed to
correctly install V7 by recognizing as genuine and valid the Treasurer's signature upon ~uch
documents, now, therefore '

HEREBYRFSOLVESAS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The Springbrook Bid Proposals signed by the Treasurer are authorized
and recognized as genuine and valid.
PASS ED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this uth day of December 2012.
