039-12 - Resolution - Removing PT Planning Front Counter and Establishing a FT Admin Assistant for Building/PlanningIntroduced by: Requested by: Drafted by: Introduced: Adopted: RESOLUTION NO. 039-12 HR Coordinator Treasurer HR Coordinator December 11, 2012 December 11, 2012 A RESOLUfiON OF THE CI'IY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON REMOVAL OF THE PART-TIME PLANNING FRONT COUNTER POSffiON AND ESTABLISHING A FULL-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT FOR THE BUILDING/PLANNING DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, it is necessary for the city to periodically review the duties and responsibilities of all employment positions; and WHEREAS, the Planning Department's part-time Front Counter Position will be eliminated effective the close of business on December 31, 2012; and WHEREAS, the Building/Planning Department's Full-time Administrative Assistant position established will become effective January 1, 2013; now, therefore, THE CI'IY COUNCIL OF THE CI'IY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: THAT: the Part-time Building/Planning Front Counter Clerk of the City of Port Orchard be removed. THAT: the Building/Planning Department's Administrative Assistant position will be established as a full-time position, including salary and benefits.
