A RESOLUfiON OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE SIX-YEAR
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE
YEARS 2015-2020.
WHEREAS, the Council adopts the six-year transportation improvement
program annually for the following six-years; now, therefore; now, therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The six-year construction portion of the Six-Year
Transportation Improvement Program for the years 2015-2020, a copy
of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A" and is an integral
portion of the Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program for the City of
Port Orchard is hereby adopted.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 24th day of June 2014.

road to allow two safe travel lanes.

Fireweed is a two lane road currently, it needs to Fireweed Road
be widened to include shoulders and a Sidney Avenue
stormwater system needs to be installed.
2.8 Sherman Avenue Widening
Sherman Avenue is currently two travel lanes
wide, but needs shoulders and a stormwater
system.

Port Orchard Boulevard is currently three lanes Port Orchard Blvd.
wide with narrow shoulders, as a continuation of Bay Street
the Tremont Widening Project it will need to be Tremont Street
widened to include sidewalks, traffic calming and
traffic control at the intersection with Bay Street.
2.10 Old Clifton Road Widening
Old Clifton Road is currently a two lane road Old Clifton Road
without sidewalks, this project would widen the SR 16 Overpass
road to four lanes and add street lighting, West City Limits
sidewalks, and storm drainage.
2.11 Pottery Avenue Widening Tremont to SR16
Pottery is currently a two-lane road, it needs to be Pottery Avenue
widened to a four-lane road, with sidewalks, Tremont Street
traffic calming and upgrades to the stormwater SR 16 Overpass
system.
2.12 Sidney Avenue (South of SR 16} Widening
Sidney Avenue is currently two lanes wide, it
needs to be widened to four lanes including the
addition of sidewalks, traffic calming, and
stormwater system improvements.
2.13 Bay Street and Rockwell Avenue Intersection
