ORDINANCE NO. 1961
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2004, ORDERING
APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING A BUDGETARY
TRANSFER.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard adopted its 2004 Budget in Ordinance No.
WHEREAS, the City desires to keep current on budget amendments; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to make adjustments to accounts and/or funds by
means of appropriation adjustments that could not have been anticipated at the time of passage of
the 2004 Budget; now, therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following appropriations of revenue received in excess of
anticipated amounts, from other financing sources and unencumbered portions of fund balances
are hereby ordered:
(a) An amount of $130,000.00 to the Current Expense Fund.
(b) An amount of $8,470.00 to the Community Events Fund.
(c) An amount of $47,300.00 to the Cumulative Reserve for Municipal Facilities
Fund.
(d) An amount of $5,720.00 to the Cumulative Reserve for Equipment
Replacement Fund.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after
posting and publication as required by law. A summary of this ordinance may be published in lieu
of the entire ordinance, as authorized by State law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard and signed by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 27th day of December 2004.
