AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
AMENDING PORT ORCHARD ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1748 TO
PERMIT OFFICE/PATIENT CLINICS AS AN ALLOWED USE IN THE
R-20 ZONE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD.
WHEREAS, the City Zoning Ordinance currently does not allow office/patient
clinics as defined in SIC 801-04, such as doctors' or dentists' offices, within the R-20 zone (20
dwelling units per net usable acre); and
WHEREAS, SIC 801-04 uses are compatible with high density residential uses
and will make such services more convenient to residents of the R-20 zone, and
WHEREAS, allowing office/patient clinics in the R-20 zone is consistent with the
comprehensive plan, now, therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1748, Part B3 General Services Land Uses Table is
hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after
posting and publication as required by law. A summary of this Ordinance may be published in lieu
of the entire Ordinance, as authorized by State law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 13"' day �October 2003.

Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed to any
interested person without charge. Thirty days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1916 will be
