ORDINANCE NO. 1034
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
REPEALING POMC 5.24 TO RESCIND JUKEBOX LICENSE, LICENSE
FEE AND CONTROL OF MACHINE REGULATIONS.
Copies of Ordinance No. 1834 are available for review at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Port
Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed to any
interested person without charge. Thirty days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1834 will be
provided at a nominal charge.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, KITSAP
COUNTY, WASHINGTON REPEALING POMC 5.24 TO RESCIND
JUKEBOX LICENSE, LICENSE FEE, AND CONTROL OF MACHINE
REGULATIONS. (Ordinance Nos. 478 and 558 are hereby repealed in
their entirety.)
WHEREAS, in 1942 the City of Port Orchard established regulations for the
licensing and control of juke boxes and coin operated music boxes, and
WHEREAS, it is no longer the desire of the City of Port Orchard to regulate and
license such jukeboxes and/or coin operated music boxes, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ClN OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON DOES
ORDAIN THAT
SECTION 1. Port Orchard Municipal Code 5.24 is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard on this 24’” day
of September 2001 and APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such
passage. n
