1813 - Ordinance - Amending Ordinance 1782 by Amending Salary ScheduleNOTICE OF CITY OF PORT ORCHARD ORDINANCE The following is a summary of an Ordinance approved by the Port Orchard City Council at their regular Council meeting held December 26,2000. ORDINANCE NO. 1813 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1782 BY AMENDING THE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD FOR THE YEAR 2000. Copies of Ordinance No. 1813 are available for review at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Thirty days afler publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1813 will be provided at a nominal charge. City of Port Orchard Michelle Merlino Deputy Clerk Publish: Port Orchard Independent Januai-v 3.2001 ORDINANCE NO. 1813 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1782 BY AMENDING THE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CIlY OF PORT ORCHARD FOR THE YEAR 2000 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard has negotiated and signed labor agreements with Teamsters Local No. 589 establishing salaries and benefits for uniformed police officers. and WHEREAS, on September 7, 2000 Washington State Public Employment Relations Council (PERC) certified Teamsters Local No. 589 as bargaining representatives for Municipal Court clerical employees, and WHEREAS, salaries for public works employees, and municipal court union employees are still being negotiated. All salaries are being reported using the 10/01/99 base rates for these employees, and WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 1830 and 1831 have provided for salaries and benefits for regular, FLSA not exempt employees, (non-representated and sergeant employees), and WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 1832 and 1890 have provided for salaries and benefits for FLSA exempt employees (executive, administrative or professional employees), and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1533 has established a rate of compensation for City Council members, now, therefore, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Effective January 1, 2000 and October 1, 2000 the following per annum (unless otherwise indicated) base salary schedules are hereby established: Mayor 15,107 Council 7 Councilmembers at 8,206 Supt.
