AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, VACATING
A PORTION OF PALMER AVENUE, AS PETITIONED BY
WILLIAM J. WILEY, et al.
Copies of Ordinance No. 1791 are available for review at the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text
of the Ordinance will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Thirty
days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1791 will be provided at a nominal
charge.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
VACATING A PORTION OF PALMER AVENUE, AS PETITIONED BY WILLIAM J.
WILEY, et al.

WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on a Petition to Vacate a portion of Palmer Avenue, further described
as follows, in accordance with RCW 35.79.035 was held Monday, December 13, 1999 at 7:35 PM in the City Council
Chambers, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, Washington, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did approve the Petition to Vacate a portion Palmer Avenue, as
submitted by William J. Wiley, et al. and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has submitted compensation as set by the City, now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
THAT a portion of Palmer Avenue, is vacated as requested in Petition to Vacate as submitted by
William J. Wiley, et al, described as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A portion of Palmer Avenue, per plat of Navy Yard Addition to Sidney, Washington in
volume 1 of plats, page 87, records of Kitsap County, Washington. described as follows: Commencing at the
northwest corner of said plat; thence along the west line of said plat South OZ"O8'24" west 30.00 feet to the southerly
margin of Orlando Street, per said plat, and the point of beginning; thence continuing along said west line south
02"08'24 west 840.00 feet: thence south 8751'36" east 30.00 feet to the southwest comer of lot 23 of block 6 of
said plat; thence north 02°08'24 east 840.00 feet to the northwest comer of lot 32 of block 5 of said plat; thence
north 87'51'36" west 30.00 feet to the point of beginning.
