Council of the City of Port Orchard, Washington, called to
Special Session by Mayor Weatherill at 8:00 P.M.
The purpose of this Special meeting is to hold a study session
on the proposed 1987 Budget.
Councilmembers present: Clauson, Wilson, Childress, Geiger,
Lloyd, Grosso and Grable. Also present: City Treasurer
Miller, Police Chief Mathews, City Engineer Curles, Fire Chief
Snow, Municipal Court Judge Dolan and City Clerk Hower.
Mayor Weatherill turned meeting over to Finance Committee
Chairman Robert G. Geiger. Councilman Geiger reviewed
proposed budget as amended. Budget items discussed were, but
not limited to, Police Department commuting; street paving;
reallocation of Federal Shared Revenue Funds; deletion of
almost all proposed capital outlay; court computer; Fire
Department volunteer reimbursement of expenses; City Attorney
and Public Defender proposals.
Public hearing to adopt 1987 Budget will be held at 7:30 PM,
December 1, 1986 in Council Chamber, 216 Prospect Street.
Special meeting adjourned at 10:30 PM
