Council called to order by Mayor Leslie J. Weatherill at
7:55 P.M. for Special Meetingon1985 Proposed City Budget.
Councilmen present: Clauson, Geiger, Miller, Grosso and
Grable. Also present: City Treasurer Miller, City Engineer
Curles, Police Chief Mathews, Fire Chief Snow, Municipal
Court .fudge Dolan and City Clerk Hower.
Councilman Geiger moved to adopt Resolution 1370 authorizing
a budgetary transfer within Federal Shared Revenue in amount
of Seven Thousand dine Hundred Eighty -Eight Dollars, seconded
by Councilman Clauson and carried. .
On motion by Councilman Geiger, seconded by Councilman Clauson,
Council approved Ordinance No. 1299 adopting the Budget for the
year 1985 and levying a tax sufficient to raise $224,384 for
Current Expense purposes and $73,905 for Street purposes.
Councilman Geiger outlined 1985 Budget as follows: Current
Expense Fund $1,618,295; Other operating funds (including
Bypass Construction Fund, Wastewater Treatment Facilities
Construction Fund) $6,694,399; and other non -operating Funds
$3,187,481.
