City Council of the City of Port Orchard, Washington called to
special session by Mayor Paul D. Powers, Jr. Councilmen present:
E. Caldwell, Wilson, L. Caldwell, Geiger, Roos and Libby. Council-
man Haberlach absent. Also present City Treasurer Lorraine Carraway,
Superintendent of Public Works Knobbs and Chief of Police Mares.
Chief of Fire Department Weatherill absent.
Mayor Powers referred the business of the evening to Chairman Robert
Geiger of the Finance Committee as the purpose of the meeting was to
hold a public hearing or hearings for the final adoption of the 1977
Budget for the City of Port Orchard.
On motion by Councilman Geiger, seconded and carried, Council
approved and adopted the 1977 Budget in the amount of $1,237.807.00.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
