Councilman Gieger moved that hardware cloth cages be made to cover the
lights on the Blvd. in order to protect them from breaking. Seconded
and carried.
Councilman Fulton stated he would be absent from the meeting August 26,
1974 and asked that he be excused. Granted. Councilman Van Zee also
wished to be excused from the next meeting. Granted.
Councilman Fulton explained the parking plan for the new parking area and
moved that the plan be accepted with a review of the plan within six
months. Seconded. Councilwoman Doyle moved to table, seconded. Motion
lost with two yeas and five nays. On the motion to accept Council
approved the motion with five yeas and two nay.
Councilwoman Doyle informed Council that there will be a Class I Water
District meeting at 2:00 P.M. at the Great Northwest Building on Friday,
August 16, 1974 relative to the Trident program impact on the area water
supply.
On motion by Councilman Geiger, second and carried Council allowed the bills
and approved that Vouchers 10302 through 10406 be paid in the amount of
$68,836.83 and that July payroll in the amount of $30,002.62 be allowed.
Council adjourned at 1:35 P.M. on motion by Councilman Van Zee, seconded
and carried.
