A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO
VACATE A PORTION OF SEATTLE AVENUE, AS SUBMffiED BY
GILBERTS. AND KATHLEEN MICHAEL.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE THAT:
A Public Hearing on a Petition to Vacate a portion of Seattle Avenue, as
submitted by Gilbert S. and Kathleen Michael, further described as follows, is hereby fixed for
Monday, May 10, 2004 at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Prospect
Street, Port Orchard, Washington.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: See Attachment "A"
The Seattle Avenue aforesaid property is approximately 7,920 square feet.
The Petitioner's are the owners of an interest in real estate abutting on the
above-described area.
The Petitioner's constitute one hundred percent of the owners of said portions of
abutting property.
WHEREFORE, Petitioners pray that proceedings be had hereon for the Vacation
of said area of said right-of-way in the manner prescribed by RCW 35.79.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 12th day of April 2004.
