1942 - Resolution - Date of Public Hearing on Petition to Vacate Unnamed AlleyRESOLUTION NO. 1942 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED ALLEY WITHIN BLOCK 5 TOM CLINE'S ADDITION TO SIDNEY BETWEEN SOUTH STREET AND CENTRAL STREET, AS SUBMITTED BY JERRY R CONNELL, BERT T. CONNELL AND KATHLEEN A MASTERSON. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE THAT: A Public Hearing on a Petition to Vacate a portion of an unnamed alley within Block 5 Tom Cline's Addition to Sidney between South Street and Central Street, as submitted by Jerry R. Connell, Bert T. Connell, and Kathleen A. Masterson, further described as follows, is hereby fixed for Monday, August 13,2001 at 7:35P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, Washington. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: That certain alley, (known as alley #6, also shown on Kitsap County Assessor's map as alley 4031-005). The alley being 16 ft. wide and 600 ft. long, bordered by lots 1-15, block 005 on the west side and lots 16-30 on the east side all within Tom Cline's addition to Sidney as recorded in Vol. 1, page 29 of Auditors Book of Plats, filed for record in Kitsap County, Washington, northwest quarter of Section 25, Township 24N Range 1 E The aforesaid property is sixteen feet (16') wide and six hundred fee (600') long containing approximately 9,600 square feet. The Petitioner's are the owners of an interest in real estate abutting on the above- described area. The Petitioner's constitute one hundred percent of the owners of said portions of abutting property. WHEREFORE, Petitioners pray that proceedings be had hereon for the Vacation of said area of said right-of-way in the manner prescribed by RCW 35.79. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 9th day of July 2001.
