A RESOLUTION OF THE
WASHINGTO DECLARING
TO THE NEEDS OF THE
SALE.
CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
514 BAY STREET SURPLUS
CITY AND AUTHORIZING ITS
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard owns the Public Works Shop at 514 Bay Street;
and
WHEREAS, the property at 514 Bay Street is not large enough to provide adequate
room for the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, the City has other property upon which a new Public Works Shop facility
can be constructed; now therefore,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE:
The property is declared surplus to the need of the City.
2. The property shall be appraised by a qualified appraiser
to determine its fair market value.
3. The property shall be sold for a price not to be less than
the appraised value of the property upon terms and
conditions acceptable to the City and leased back to the
City upon terms and conditions acceptable to the City
until a new Public Works facility can be constructed.
4_ The City shall construct a new Public Works Shop facility
on other City owned property.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 12th day of October, 1998.
