1842 - Resolution - Amending Resolution No. 1811 Allowing Two AccessesCity of Port Orchard 216 Prospect Street Port Orchard, WA 98366 RESOLUTION NO. 1842 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1811 BY MODIFYING CONDITION NO. 10 ALLOWING TWO ACCESSES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 296 TREMONT STREET FOR A TWO YEAR PERIOD OR WHEN THE CITY COUNCIL DEEMS IT NECESSARY, THE PROPERTY OWNER WILL LIMIT ACCESS TO TREMONT STREET TO ONLY ONE DRIVEWAY. THE PROPERTY OWNER IS ORTON G. KRUEGER. Tax Account No. 352401-3-033-2001 Legal Description: Section 35, Township 24, Range 1 East Full legal description: Attachment "A" WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1811 approved a Special Use Permit as submitted by property owner Orton G. Krueger to allow the conversion of a single family residence located at 296 Tremont Street into professional offices for Tom Herstad Building Design, Inc., and WHEREAS, Tom Herstad Building Design, Inc., subsequently petitioned the City Council of the City of Port Orchard for modification of Condition No. 10, and WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing on November 23, 1998 to hear testimony and public input on the requested modification of Condition No. 10 which allows two accesses for property located at 296 Tremont Street for a two year period or when the City Council deems it necessary, the property owner will limit access to only one driveway, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard concluded that granting this modification would not be detrimental to the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That Condition No. 10 of Resolution No. 1811 is hereby modified as follows: Two access will be allowed for property located at 296 Tremont Street for a two year period or when the City Council deems it necessary, the property owner will limit access to Tremont Street to only one driveway.
