1696 - Resolution - Segregation of PropertiesRESOLUTION NO. 1696 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING SEGREGATION OF PROPERTIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 35.44.410 REVISED CODE OF WASHINGTON WHEREAS, Section 35.44.410 Revised Code of Washington allowing Cities and Towns to order segregation of assessments; and WHEREAS, a request has been received for a segregation of U.L.I.D. No. 1 Account Number 02230120342002 Parcel Number 5813 described as follows: LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 02, Township 23, Range 01 East, Pt. of SE 1/4, NW 1/4, beginning 30 feet south of northwest corner of SE 1/4, NW 1/4, South 186 feet, East 188 feet, North 186 feet, West 188 feet to Point of Beginning, except roads. containing 34,968 sq. ft. in the amount of $458.61 plus interest at the rate of 10.6%, and WHEREAS, the segregation shall be made as nearly as possible on the same basis as the original assessment was levied and the total of the segregated assessment shall equal the principal due on the assessment before the segregation; and WHEREAS, a fee shall be charged in the amount of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each tract of land for which a segregation is to be made and in addition a charge for reasonable engineering and clerical costs incident to making the segregation; and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that such segregation does not jeopardize the lien for such assessment.
