A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGT.ON AUTHORIZING SEGREGATION OF
PROPERTIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
35.44.410 REVISED CODE OF WASHINGTON
WHEREAS, Section 35,44.410 Revised Code of Washington
allowing Cities and Towns to order segregation of assessments; and
WHEREAS, a request has been received for a segregation of
U.L. I . D . No. 1 Account Number 362401 - 3-052--2006 Parcel Number 5560
described as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 36, Township 24 North, Range 01 East:
That portion of the West 8.0 acres of the South half of the South
half of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter conveyed by
Auditor No. 1153111 Defined as follows: Beginning at the Northeast
corner of the said 8.0 acre tract thence North 88*52'48" West along
north side of the said 8.0 acre tract 599.00 feet to the True Point
of Beginning thence continue North 88*52"48" West 80.00 feet thence
South 02* 09" 58"West 332.92 feet to South line of said Southwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter thence South 88* 50' 33" East along
said South line 80.00 feet thence North 02* 09' 58" East 332.98 feet
to True Point of Beginning EXCEPT the South 10 feet for County Road.
containing 24,830 sq. ft. in the anount of $ 535.03 plus interest at the rate of
10.6%, and
WHEREAS, the segregation shall be made as nearly as possible on the
same basis as the original assessment was levied and the total of the segregated
assessment shall equal the principal due on the assessment before the
segregation; and
WHEREAS, a fee shall be charged in the amount of Ten Dollars ($10.00)
for each tract of land for which a segregation is to be made and in addition a
charge for reasonable engineering and clerical costs incident to making the
segregation; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that such segregation does not
jeopardize the lien for such assessment.
THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
order the City Treasurer to complete the above request for segregation:
