A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF
SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO SHARON PICINICH
FOR A SPECIFIC USE OF A PARCEL OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 705 BAY STREET
WHICH IS IN HARMONY WITH THE VARIOUS
ELEMENTS OR OBJECTIVES OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND IS NOT
DETRIMENTAL TO EXISTING USES
PERMITTED IN THAT PARTICULAR ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE:
THAT: Whereas the City Planning Commission has
held the required public hearings in accordance with the
criteria set forth in Chapter 5 (Special Use Permits) of
Ordinance No. 1163, Zoning Ordinance of the City of Port
Orchard, and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Port Orchard
did hold a Public Hearing on May 26, 1987 to hear testimony
and review materials presented and does set forth Findings of
Fact and Conclusion as follows:
FINDINGS OF FACT: 1. The area of the proposed
Special Use Permit is.presently zoned commercial
general. This zoning designation permits, uses
such as residential dwelling units upon issuance
of a Special Use Permit.
2. The proposed use is in
harmony with the objective of the comprehensive
plan and is not detrimental to existing uses.
3. The building is adequate
to support the proposed use.
CONCLUSION: Based on testimony, materials
presented and Findings of Fact, the Port Orchard
City Council does hereby conclude that granting
this Special Use Permit would not be detrimental
to the health, safety, morals and general welfare
of the community.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Port Orchard does hereby approve that a Special Use Permit to
allow a residential dwelling unit be issued in accordance
with the conditions imposed by Ordinance No. 1163, Chapter 5.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 26, Township 24N,
Range 1 E, Sidney S.M. Stevens' Addition Block
13, Lot 002, D-01, W 112 of Lot 2 Together with
Tidelands Fronting.

Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in
