A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
ESTABLISHING RESTRICTIONS, TIME LIMITS
AND FEES FOR PARKING ON CERTAIN CITY
PARKING LOTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard has established
that City 'parking lots shall con.sist of five areas as' defined
in Ordinance No. 1384.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City
Council of the City of Port Orchard, that the City parking
lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 shall be subject to restrictions and
fees, as follows:
'Lot 1 which lies between Orchard Street and
Frpderick Streets - no parking is allowed
in�Lot 1 between seven a.m. and eight a.m.
Parking at other hours will require the
payment of One°Dollar, ($1.00) in United
States Currency for each twelve hour
interval or part thereof or by obtaining a
monthly prepaid parking pass which may be
purchased for the sum of Twenty -Two Dollars
($22.00) in .United States Currency from the
City Treasurer's Office. Monthly parking
passes will not be prorated.
Lot 2 which lies between Fredrick Street and
Sidney Avenue - parking in Lot 2 shall be
allowed for a maximum period of four hours,
Monday through Saturday, eight a.m. to five
p.m. No monetary charge.
Lot 3 which is all parking spaces on library
property - parking in Lot. 3 shall be
allowed for library patrons only when
library is open, at all other times parking
in Lot 3 shall be allowed for a maximum
period of four hours. No monetary charge.
Lot 4 which is all parking areas under City
jurisdiction which lies east of the east
library property line -.parking in Lot 4
shall require the payment of Two Dollars
($2.00) in United States Currency for each
twelve hour interval or part thereof.
Commuter Van Pool vehicles (three or more
per -sons per vehicle) may -obtain a monthly
prepaid parking pass for the sum of
Twenty -Two Dollars ($22.00). Monthly
parking passes will not be prorated.

Lot 5 which is a11 parking 'spaces on City
Hall property - parking in Lot 5 shall
be for City Hall patrons and City
employees only. No monetary charge.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of
Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the
Clerk in authentication of such passage this 14th day of
September, 1987
