A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON A PETITION FOR A VACATION OF A PORTION OF
MAPLE STREET
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Port Orchard, Washington, as follows:
THAT: A Public Hearing on the petition for vacation
of a portion of Maple Street further described as follows, is
hereby fixed for Monday, April 14, 1986 at 7:45 P.M., in the
City Council Chamber, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port
Orchard, Washington.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: That portion of Tom Clines
addition to Sidney as recorded in Volume 1 of
Plats, Page 29, records of Kitsap County, WA,
Described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of Block 006, Tom.
Clines Addition to Sidney; thence West 66 ft
to the NE corner of Block 005 Tom Clines
Addition to Sidney; thence South 600 ft to the
SE corner of Block 005; thence East 66 ft to the
SW corner of Block 006, Tom Clines Addition;
thence North 600 feet to the point of beginning.
Togetherwith an easement of twenty (20) feet in
width running North and South within the
vacated portion for utilities.
The petitioner is the.owner of an interest_ in .real
estate abutting on the above described area.
The petitioner constitutes more than two-thirds of
the owners of said portions of abutting property.
WHEREFORE, petitioner prays that proceedings be had
hereon for.the vacation of said area of said street in the
manner prescribed by RCW 35.79.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication
of such passage this loth day of M'Xrch,, 1986.
