AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1718 TO
CORRECT A SCRIVENER'S ERROR AND ADJUST THE
COMPLETION DATE FOR THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF AIDAN
PLACE SUBDIVISION. PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE VICINITY
OF 1030 OLNEY
Copies of Ordinance No. 1756 are available for review at the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text
of the Ordinance will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Thirty
days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1756 will be provided at a nominal
charge.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
AMENDING ORDINACE NO. 1718 TO CORRECT A SCRIVENER'S
ERROR AND ADJUST THE COMPLETION DATE FOR THE
PRELIMINARY PLAT OF AIDAN PLACE SUBDIVISION. PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF 1030 OLNEY AVENUE.
Tax Account No: 252401-4-009-2001 AND 252401-4-023-2001
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Portion of the south half of the Northeast quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 24 North, Range 1 East,
W.M., Kitsap County, Washington, lying westerly of Olney Avenue;
except portion deeded to Richard V. Krueger and Helen Krueger,
husband and wife, by auditor's file number 486008, recorded in volume
482 on page 673, records of Kitsap County.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Port Orchard did hold a Public Hearing on April 24,
1995, and following the Public Hearing did adopt Ordinance No. 1632 with 48 conditions, approving
Preliminary Plat of Aidan Place Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did approve modifications to Condition Nos. 24 and 26 by
adoption of Ordinance No. 1739, and
WHEREAS, Chapter 24 of Ordinance No. 1702, the City's Subdivision Ordinance does
provide for authority for the City Council to approve a one year extension for a preliminary plat upon the
ownerldeveloper showing that they have attempted in good faith to complete the requirements of the final
plat within the required three year period, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize a one year extension for the Preliminary Plat
of Aidan Place on April 13, 1998 by adoption of Ordinance No. 1718, and
WHEREAS, due to a scrivener's error in Ordinance No. 1718 the date for the expiration
of the one year extension was stated incorrectly, and it is the desire of the City Council to correct this error
to allow a full one year extension of the Preliminary Plat of Aidan Place, now therefore,

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
That Ordinance No. 1718 shall be amended to read as follows:
That an extension of one year be granted to the Preliminary Plat of Aidan Place
Subdivision, to allow compliance of the 48 conditions as granted in Ordinance
No.1739. Expiration date April 8, 1999.
